We want to determine how much stock we need to buy to satisfy the requirements of multiple divisions and make sure we don’t have too much or too little stock.

Question

On the appropriate sheets

  1. In subsequent sheets you will see the usage of stock by division.
  2. We purchase a set amount of stock per month
  3. In the yellow cells, calculate the total stock used by the divisions based on there forecasts
  4. Use the graph to determine where we will have problems (where stock goes negative- impossible so we must buy more, or we can’t store that much)
