This lesson covers Conditional Formatting and how it allows you to change the format of a cell based on its, or another cells, contents. In Excel 2007 and higher this has been enhanced to include the ability to create icons within a cell.

The best way to learn is to create a simple conditional format. In the image below we want cells B14 to F14 to change colour so that the cell turns green if it is bigger than 20%, yellow if between 10% and 20% and red if below 10%.
