Quick Drop Down List

Instead of retyping common items in Excel, you can look at using Excel’s quick drop down generator.

To follow along go to 25.3

If you have a list as per Column A below (and note that there are lots of names hidden in rows 8 to 25) you may want to generate a drop down based on the names above.

To do this just:

• Click on the cell below the list
• Click ALT + Down Arrow

Excel will generate a list in alphabetical order that you can pick from.
