Separation- Dealing with the Reports of a budget or forecast
The only thing most people will see of your budget is the outputs and reports. Some things to remember when building the reports:
- Allow sufficient column width for reading and printing.
- Use commas/ spaces to separate thousands.
- Use red or brackets for negatives
- Emphasize totals
- Use appropriate headings
- Make it print friendly
