Another useful function is the ability to find out when the next working day is based on a date. It could be the very next day or 30 days from now depending on what you are trying to do.
In the example below we want Excel to look at a date (column A) and tell us what is a valid workday if we add 1 day to it.
Are Saturday/ Sunday always the weekend
The problem with the WORKDAY function is that it assumes that a weekend is always Saturday and Sunday, but some countries don’t use these days as weekends.
As a result there is a new function in Excel to cater for this.
